Greg Gutfeld: Bergdahl Swap 'Like a Common Core Math Problem'

Greg Gutfeld says he cannot figure out President Obama’s Bergdahl trade.

On Fox News Channel’s The Five on Monday, co-host Gutfeld said, “It sounds like a Common Core math problem – five high risk terrorists for one mysterious hostage.”

“The Taliban has called the prisoner swap a ‘victory,’ leading many to wonder what message it sends that the United States negotiated with terrorists,” Gutfeld continued. “What else did we give them? We’re dealing with mobsters or mules, after all.”

“And why these five specific guys? They weren’t working in HR,” he added. “We’ve been told that Islamophobia only increases violence worldwide, but you could say the same thing about this.”

Gutfeld went on to refer to President Obama as a “lousy” poker player, “telegraphing intentions even before entering the casino.”

As Breitbart News’ John Nolte reported Monday, the “math” of the swap is even more perplexing when we consider the “controversy over claims that Bergdahl was a deserter who simply walked away from his post,” rather than being “taken in battle,” as described by National Security Adviser Susan Rice.
