Iranian FM Criticizes UN Efforts in Ending Israel Attack on Gaza

Tehran, July 28 (QNA) – Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif held Monday a telephone conversation with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon reviewing Israel’s crimes in Gaza against women and children.

Zarif said during the conversation that the Palestinian demands must be taken into considerations during any ceasefire talks, particularly lifting the siege off Gaza. Zarif also criticized the United Nations’ efforts in challenging Israel’s crimes, as he called for the international community to send food and medical aid to the people of Gaza.

For his part, Ban Ki-moon said that he is doing all he can to broker a ceasefire and lift the siege off Gaza. (QNA)
