IDF Neutralizes Palestinian Terrorists Allegedly Responsible For Killing 3 Israeli Teens

Two Hamas-supported Palestinians who were the main suspects for the abduction and murder of three innocent Israeli teens have been brought to justice. On Tuesday morning, the Israel Defense Forces neutralized the terrorists after an exchange of gunfire.

The two suspects, Marwan Kawasme and Amer Abu Aysha, were reportedly being given safe-haven at a carpentry store in Hebron. The two men were in possession of automatic weapons, and fired them in the direction the IDF forces immediately upon their entry into the building, according to security sources who told the Jerusalem Post.

IDF Brigadier General Tamir Yadai said of the successful operation:

We have been pursuing Marwan and Amar since June 20. This has been a long and complex operation involving the Shin Bet, the IDF, and the Counter-Terrorism Unit. Yesterday evening we located their hiding spot, and since 1 a.m. we surrounded it… We wanted to arrive from the advantage of height because we did not want to encounter them on the same floor and conduct face to face combat… At a certain stage, they came out and opened fire. One was killed on the spot, and one fell into a pit and I assume he was killed… They did not hide in this location for the entire time. We believe they were there over the past week.

Gilad Shaer, Eyal Yifrah, and Naftali Frankel were kidnapped in June by Hamas-sponsored terrorists. The three teens were then tragically killed shortly after their abduction from a hitchhiking area in Gush Etzion.

The news of the terrorists being brought to justice falls just one day before the start of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah).

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that his terror group “praises the role of martyrs Abu Aysha and Kawasme played in chasing down Israeli settlers and we stress that their assassination will not weaken the resistance.”

Hamas reportedly paid a hitman $61,500 dollars for the abduction of the three Israeli teens. Some point to the kidnapping as the ignition switch that sparked a 50-day war between Israel and Hamas.
