Americans Use Social Media to Voice Outrage Over Muslim Service at National Cathedral, Praise Woman Who Disrupted

The National Cathedral in Washington, DC, hosted its first Muslim prayer service on Friday. There are some Americans who are not thrilled about it. These people took to social media to express their outrage over the service and praise the Christian woman who disrupted the event.

I don’t get why a Christian woman was evicted out of church by muslims for proclaiming her faith http://t.co/74NZcYS8im @NeilofWatford

It’s sad to see the Washington National Cathedral open its doors to the worship of anything other than the One… http://t.co/kgEhRBfKYu

Why is the National Cathedral hosting a Muslim event? It’s a one way street. Can’t imagine any Mosque hosting a baptism or a gay marriage.

Breitbart News reported the day of service was the 100th anniversary of the last “Caliph” the Islamic world declared on non-Muslims. A Christian genocide quickly followed, which resulted in deaths of millions. Breitbart News asked Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool if it was appropriate to host the service at the Cathedral on the anniversary.

“It’s deliciously appropriate,” he said. “We stand in a Christian cathedral, make common cause with the Christian middle ground, and make a commitment, that never again must there be intolerance towards Christians or any other faith. We stand up against extremism from the house of Islam and wherever it else it may emanate.”

Americans also left scathing reviews on the National Cathedral’s Facebook page.

“The Muslim service at the cathedral is an insult to Christians around the world,” said Jeanette Grayeb-Mihal. “This is beyond my comprehension. They have burned our. Churches, killed Christians and we invite them into God’s house. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am outraged at your lack of common sense. How dare you expect me to accept this misguided decision.”

“Disgusting Washington organization that spits in the face of Christians by allowing the house of God to be soiled by worshipers of a child rapist!” said Kevin Gene McDaniel. “Islam has tainted this house! It is unclean.”
