Sister Can't Understand Why Homeowner Shot Her Brother For Breaking In

On May 6, Breitbart News reported that two teen burglary suspects had been shot and killed inside a North Sacramento home at approximalely 12:18 a.m.

CBS News’ Sacramento affiliate now reports that the deceased burglary suspects were 14-year-old Michael Sambrano and his 16-year-old best friend. Their family and friends say “they didn’t deserve to get killed.”

Police say they don’t know whether the two were shot by the elderly woman who lives in the home or by her brother. Either way, Sambrano’s sister says,”They were on their way out the door, and I just think it was wrong that they were shot.”

But neighbors on Arcade Boulevard say their neighbor did the right thing–that “justice was served.”

Another neighbor said burglars had targeted that home twice before, so the teens killed were “not innocent [bystanders].” He added: “I’m sorry the little boys or teenagers were killed, but if it’s my family, my family comes first.”
