Santa Barbara Sorority House Hires Good Guys With Guns After Attacks
In the aftermath of Elliot Rodger's knife and gun attacks in Santa Barbara, Alpha Phi sorority has placed two good guys with guns outside their front door.
According to the LA Times, the good guys are armed security guards in uniform. They are there to keep someone like Rodger from carrying out such heinous acts again.
Rodger wrote a manifesto in which he outlined his plans to target Alpha Phi as part of his "war on women." He wrote: "I will attack the very girls who represent everything I hate in the female gender: the hottest sorority of UCSB."
Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said the girls inside the sorority house were spared because "no one opened the door [for Rodger]." But he was still able to harm girls on the front lawn.
