TASER Sales Continue to Skyrocket

Taser International has “more than 3,300 new sales in [the second fiscal quarter]” of 2014 alone.

Taser sales are booming.

According to The Motley Fool, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department bought 883 X26P Model Tasers, the Iowa State Patrol bought 507, and in Texas the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department bought 225.

The Fort Worth Police Department, the Illinois State Police Academy, the Houston Police Department, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, among others, also made large purchases.

Taser Cam HD recorders and/or upgrades to the company’s Taser Assurance warranty and upgrades plan [were also] booked to law enforcement customers in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts. Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, …Barbados and American Samoa.

On May 7 Breitbart News reported Californians were turning to tasers and stun guns in lieu of real guns.
