Mid-Ebola Scare, Tori Spelling Promotes Show with Tweet from Hospital

Former Beverly Hills 90210 cast member and drama-maven Tori Spelling was quarantined in Ebola-like conditions last weekend–and has used the opportunity to kick off the season premiere of her new reality TV show True Tori, which began airing on Lifetime in April of this year.

Spelling tweeted a picture of herself flashing a peace sign from her hospital room ahead of Tuesday night’s season premiere, fully clad in a hospital gown with a bright yellow surgical face mask emblazoned with a hashtag with the name of her show on it (#TrueTori), according to Extra TV.

Although Spelling had been quarantined from other patients after she checked in to Cedars Sinai hospital with a fever, uncontrollable coughing and difficulty breathing, doctors diagnosed a severe case of bronchitis and sinusitis–not ebola. TMZ first reported the story.

The next episode of True Tori will be airing on Lifetime next Tuesday at 9 pm ET. The series documents of Spelling’s life with husband Dean McDermott.

The couple/s relationship was plunged into turmoil when Spelling discovered her husband had an affair with a woman in 2013. Their marriage was also, however, born from an affair that Spelling had engaged in with McDermott while he was married. Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006 and have four children.
