Just hours after being declared winner of the Rochester and Strood by-election, new UKIP MP Mark Reckless formally took his seat in the House of Commons this morning.
He was flanked by fellow UKIP MP Douglas Carswell, who won the Clacton by-election last month, and, interestingly, Conservative MP Philip Hollobone.
Hollobone is known to strongly sympathise with UKIP and, according to the Guido Fawkes blog, is 2/1 favourite to be the next Conservative MP to defect to UKIP.
