Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles for their open head coaching job, according to an Associated Press source.  

Kelly took the Irish to the BCS championship game. Alabama drubbed Notre Dame 42-21 in that contest. 

A Notre Dame source, though, told Sports Illustrated "the expected result of Kelly's NFL flirtation is a raise and an extension."
