Lance Armstrong, the cyclist who has vehemently denied he has ever used performance-enhancing drugs, will reportedly go on Oprah Winfrey's show and admit that doped. He will use the interview to ask for forgiveness.
Armstrong will reportedly appear on Winfrey's show on January 17 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. on the OWN channel.
Armstrong's associates have indicated that Armstrong, in order to continue his athletic career in triathlons, was considering admitting that he had doped in the past so long as he is assured he will not be prosecuted for perjury.
Armstrong has testified under oath that he had never used performance-enhancing drugs.
