ESPN’s one-on-one interview with Manti Te’o today has reportedly been “scrapped.”
According to reports, ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap was slated to interview Te’o, but, as of now, the interview will not happen.
On Wednesday, Deadspin reported that Manti Te’o’s dead girlfriend never existed. Te’o released a statement–to ESPN–yesterday alleging he was a victim of a hoax and he was “embarrassed.”
Te’o has not yet spoken publicly about the Deadspin story.
