No. 6 Arizona Books Trip to Sweet 16 by Demolishing Cinderella Harvard

Arizona welcomed Harvard to reality on Saturday, ending the Crimson’s Cinderella run in the tournament by pounding Harvard 74-51 to move to the Sweet 16 in the West Regional.

The game was over in the first ten minutes, and Harvard did not even make a field goal for the first 8 minutes of the game.

Mark Lyons had 21 points and Harvard did not have an answer for him. Solomon Hill added 13 points and Arizona dominated Harvard inside. Harvard just could not match the talent the Wildcats had, and that talent is why many thought Arizona could win it all when the defeated teams like Miami and Florida before the Pac-12 regular season in which the Wildcats were inconsistent.

Harvard dramatically upset No. 3 New Mexico on Thursday to win the first NCAA tournament game in the school’s history. But the Crimson ran into an Arizona team that looked to be on a mission on Saturday.

Arizona has the talent to win it all or lose to anybody in the country. So far in the tournament, Arizona has been focused, relentless, and looked liked the team that can beat any team.

The Wildcats will play in Los Angeles in the Sweet 16 and will have many of their faithful in the Pac-12 friendly audience. They will play the winner of the Ohio State-Iowa State game.

Arizona will try to become the first Pac-10/12 team to win the title since 1997, when the Arizona beat three No.1 seeds to win the championship over Kentucky.
