Harbaugh Prepares Pep Talk for Brother-in-law's Hoosiers

During the NFL playoffs Breitbart Sports was one of the first to note a possible Superbowl matchup between brothers Jim and John Harbaugh, and the fact that brother-in-law Tom Crean simultaneously had the Indiana Hoosiers contending for a title. With Crean in Washington for Indiana’s Sweet 16 match-up with Syracuse Thursday, John Harbaugh came in to give a pep talk, much as Jim Harbaugh did five years ago when Crean took his last Marquette team to Anaheim for the tournament.

Jim Harbaugh was coaching Stanford then, coming off a stunning upset of Pete Carroll’s USC Trojans that at the time was considered a one-time fluke. He wore a Marquette shirt over a Stanford shirt and gave a rousing speech to alumni and then the players before Crean took the court and defeated Kentucky. However, two days later he was in only Stanford colors as the Cardinal defeated Marquette 82-81 in overtime.

Apparently John (pictured with Crean and legendary Georgetown coach John Thompson) plans something similar.

“I’ve got a little something planned,”  Harbaugh told the AP, while wearing a gray hoodie with a red “Indiana Basketball” logo on his chest. “A little pep talk.”
