Foundation of Auburn Hit Piece Guilty of First Degree Robbery

Mike McNeil, the former Auburn safety who has been critical of his university, has been convicted of first degree robbery. He has been sentenced to 15 years but is more likely to serve the mandatory three.

The former Tiger was part of a group of four players charged in this incident, and he was the source behind the recent allegations against the Auburn program.

McNeil cited improper payments, academic fraud, and widespread use of synthetic marijuana within the program. Other players were quoted in the report but each has since denied the accuracy of the report and have attacked the journalistic credibility of its author, Selena Roberts.

The conviction of McNeil is the second of the four, joining wide receiver Antonio Goodwin. Dakota Moseley and Shaun Kitchens await trial.
