NBA Playoffs: Bulls 1st Road Winner, Clippers Up 2-0

In giving the playoff odds for all games, Breitbart Sports reported that the Chicago Bulls were the low seed with the best chance to pull an upset (49%), and with Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah back on the court they pulled the first road win of the NBA playoffs (click here for AP story). We reported the Grizzlies had the second best chance (42%), and it took All-Star Chris Paul’s last second shot to prevent their upset (AP here).

The visiting teams on Tuesday (Celtics, Warriors, Bucks) and Wednesday (Rockets, Hawks and Lakers) face much tougher battles.

The question remains, “Can anyone beat LeBron James (pictured) and the Heat?” The Bucks will try again Tuesday, but the odds are long.

All-Star Chris Paul saved the Clippers after they had blown a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter, fighting off Tony Allen’s defense to go right to bank a one-handed running jumper with 0.1 seconds left for a 93-91 win and 2-0 lead.

After getting blown out without All-Star center Joakim Noah in Game 1, the Chicago Bulls got a great performance from him through the pain (which Derrick Rose continued to sit out), and Kirk Hinrich, who was injured during Game One.

Noah led the Bulls to a 90-82 win over the Brooklyn Nets on three baskets in the fourth quarter and great defense. Carlos Boozer (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Luol Deng (15,10) both had double-doubles.
