Rockets Force Game 6 Against Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder had a chance to finish off the Houston Rockets, but failed to do so. Now, the Rockets are trying to be the first team in NBA history to rally to win a series after being down 3-0.

James Harden led the way against his former team with 31 points while fighting an illness. He managed to hit his first seven three pointers.

Kevin Durant could not carry the load for the Thunder. He scored 36 points and did not score any in the fourth quarter. Reggie Jackson scored 20 points, but it was not enough, as he had trouble defending Houston's guards. The team’s all-star Russell Westbrook went down with a season ending knee injury in game two.

The Thunder tried to cut down the lead by intentionally fouling Omer Asik. He has a career stat of 52.7% from the line, but only 43.2% in the playoffs. However, this strategy did not work and only put the Rockets ahead 101-92.

Game 6 is Friday night in Houston.
