Elite Corner Commits to Michigan

New Jersey cornerback Jabrill Peppers of Paramus Catholic selected the Michigan Wolverines as his college destination on Sunday afternoon. After growing up a fan of the Wolverines, he intends to sign with the university on National Signing Day in February 2014.

Peppers is the most high profile member of the Class of 2014 to make a declaration of where he will attend school. At 6’1,” 210 pounds, he has the frame and skills to be a standout at corner, or even safety at the next level. He has also been a dominant running back and return man in high school and could utilize those skills to help Michigan stand out in the Big Ten.

The commitment from the elite athlete has already elevated an already strong Michigan class to the #1 overall ranking according to 247Sports.com. Peppers, who is universally seen as one of the top recruits in the country, is under consideration for the top spot in the Breitbart Sports recruiting rankings which will be released in June.
