Houston RB Arian Foster Injured at Practice

The Houston Texans had a mild scare when running back Arian Foster left practice with a strained right calf. It was not reported how he injured himself, but he was taken off on a cart.

He was injured on the first play of team drills. Coach Gary Kubiak said every player must take part in the drills for the team to improve.

More will be known about the injury after Foster sees the doctor. Star wide receiver Andre Johnson is not concerned. From the AP:

Receiver Andre Johnson says he saw Foster limping off the field after a running play. Johnson says: “I think if it was real bad, I think we would’ve known about it by now. I don’t think that it’s (anything) real bad.”
