Sean White Wins Elite 11 Competition

Sean White from University School of Nova South in Fort Lauderdale, FL did not enter this week's Elite 11 competition as a headliner, but he did emerge the MVP.

The Elite 11 has been an annual competition and for prep quarterbacks and often separates some of the nation's top young signal callers from the rest of the bunch.

White, who entered the competition rated a lowly three star by Rivals.com, stood out with his accuracy. Trent Dilfer, a coach at the competition, declared that "his accurate isn't just accurate. It's exact. It's an NFL type of ball. I'm stealing this from Steve Young, but he has an artistic ball. He paints a picture with his ball."

His recruitment is just now really taking off as most have not been overly enthusiastic about a 6'1", 199 lb quarterback that lacks mobility until his recent performance.

Other quarterbacks that emerged from the competition to be named to the "Elite 11" were Jacob Park (Georgia), Kyle Allen (Texas A&M), Drew Barker (Kentucky), David Blough (Purdue), KJ Carta-Samuels (Vanderbilt), Will Grier (Florida), Deshaun Watson (Clemson), Brad Kaaya (Miami), Luke Rubenzer (Cal), and Jerrod Heard (Texas). White is the only non-committed prospect among the group.
