Cooper Returns from Leave of Absence, to Play in Preseason Game Friday

After taking a brief leave of absence last Friday to attend racial sensitivity training, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper returned to the team on Tuesday and will play in the team’s preseason game this Friday against the New England Patriots.

Cooper has been at the center of a firestorm after a video of Cooper using the “N-word” slur at a Kenny Chesney concert last month surfaced last week on CrossingBroad.com, a Philadelphia sports website.
