Parking Lot Attendant Accused of Stealing $225K from Eagles Player

A parking lot attendant for the Philadelphia Eagles is being accused of stealing $225,000 from Eagles offensive lineman Todd Herremans.

Federal prosecutors said Robert Von Ryan, the attendant, “entered the vehicle of an Eagle identified as ‘T.H.’ From the car, he took documents that contained the player’s checking account number.”

An Eagles spokesman confirmed to philly.com that “the victim was offensive lineman Todd Herremans and the lot was at the team’s hotel in Philadelphia. The attendant, the spokesman said, was a subcontractor and not employed by the team.”

Von Ryan allegedly “transfered $225,034.52 from Herremans’ UBS checking account to his own” between 2009 and 2012 and, if convicted, “faces a possible sentence of up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.”
