Incognito: Martin Joked He'd 'Murder' My Family

In an interview that aired on Sunday, Richie Incognito said Jonathan Martin also sent him joking texts threatening to kill his family. 

“A week before this went down, Jonathan Martin texted me, ‘I will murder your whole F–ing family. Now did I think Jonathan Martin was going to murder my family? Not one bit,” Incognito said.

Incognito gave the interview to Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer, who “disclosed that he and Incognito have been friendly for five years and that Glazer has worked with Incognito on mixed martial arts training.”

Martin has alleged that Incognito sent him threatening texts in which Incognito slurred him with the “N-word” and threatened to kill his family. Incognito said he merely sent Martin those texts to shock him so the lineman would call him back last April and that is how the two joked around with each other.
