Football Team 'Disappointed' Crack-Smoking Mayor Wore Jersey While Denying Oral Sex Allegations
The Toronto Argonauts, a football team in the Canadian Football League (CFL), said they were disappointed that embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford wore the team's jersey in a circus-like press conference on Thursday in which he denied seedy allegations that he tried to have oral sex with a former female aide.
After previously admitting that he was caught on tape smoking crack in a "drunken stupor," Ford denied allegations he snorted more cocaine and solicited prostitutes while admitting that he may have driven while intoxicated. He then profanely addressed another allegation made by a former staffer, who claimed Ford wanted to go down on her.
“It says I wanted to eat her p*ssy and I have never said that in my life to her," he said to reporters during a scrum. "I would never do that. I’m happily married and I’ve got more than enough to eat at home."
Ford then apologized hours later, with his wife next to his side, for his profane language. The Argonauts, though, expressed their disappointment in a series of tweets.
