NBA Player Who Reportedly Signed Abortion Contract Attends Obama Fundraiser

Los Angeles Clippers and former Duke basketball player J.J. Redick, who reportedly signed an abortion contract with his former girlfriend in 2007, attended a fundraiser for President Barack Obama at the home of Magic Johnson on Monday.

As Breitbart News reported:

Uncovered by MediaTakeOut, the contract between Redick and model Vanessa Lopez, who was pregnant with Redick’s child when he was a rookie for the Orlando Magic, stipulates Lopez would terminate her pregnancy and provide documents that proved she went through with the abortion to Redick.

The legal document, drawn up by representatives of both parties, stipulated that Redick and Lopez would also attempt to maintain a “relationship” for a year after the abortion and any contact between the two after that year would be considered “stalking.” If Redick decided not to maintain the “relationship” for a year after Lopez’s abortion, Redick would pay Lopez $25,000.

Redick later denied the report and the contract. Obama and Democrats have supported late-term and partial-birth abortions while ginning up the “war on women” rhetoric and backing liberal heroines like Texas state senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who got famous for opposing a law that would ban abortions after 20 weeks while making abortion clinics safer.
