Australian Rugby Player Breaks Teammate's Jaw over Rihanna's Autograph

An Australian rugby player reportedly broke the jaw of his teammate after punching him over Rihanna’s autograph on Monday night.

The players, who had been training in Arizona, had gone up to Los Angeles and were out at a nightclub. After the players were told to leave the club because Rihanna was about to arrive, Cambpell Brown wanted to go back in to get her autograph. When teammate Steven May tried to stop him, Brown punched him in the jaw and knocked him out.

According to the Herald-Sun, the players were “at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood when they were asked to leave because Rihanna and her entourage were arriving after the pop star’s concert”:

May was allegedly trying to force his way back in to get an autograph when an attempt was made to stop him by Hawthorn’s Josh Gibson, who was also present.

It is understood that after May verbally abused Gibson, Brown stepped in and allegedly punched him.
