The NHL on Friday fined Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville $25,000 for grabbing his crotch during Thursday’s playoff game against the St. Louis Blues. Quenneville made the gesture while protesting what he thought was a penalty against St. Louis.
The NHL said the fine money will go to the NHL Foundation.
