It’s been a bad few days for football-players-turned-television-personalities. First, the NFL Network’s Donovan McNabb serves a day in an Arizona jail for his 2013 drunk driving arrest. Then the cops come for ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson over a domestic dispute.
As first reported by TMZ Sports, police in Calabasas, California arrested on misdemeanor domestic after a dispute with an ex-girlfriend that allegedly ended in a smashed cell phone and a hurt hand. The argument allegedly centered on the pair’s marriage, or lack thereof one. The former Jets receiver made $20,000 bail this morning.
The women’s side of the argument can be summed up in five words: “Give me the damn ring!” Keyshawn, “give me the damn ball!” Johnson, surely knows what it’s like to desperately want an object.
