A plurality of Americans believe that it was “inappropriate” for ESPN to broadcast Michael Sam’s gay kiss on national television after he became the first openly gay player to be drafted in the NFL last Saturday.
The Huffington Post/YouGov poll, asked Americans whether it was “was appropriate or inappropriate for networks broadcasting the draft to show this kiss,” and a near majority responded that it was not:
