Don’t play with fire. And if you want to make the Indianapolis Colts roster, don’t play with fire extinguishers.

The Indianapolis Colts defeated the New York Jets 13-10 in a Thursday night preseason game. Daniel “Boom” Herron’s contributions to that effort brought out the player hater in the player he replaced as the third running back for Indianapolis.

“Yea I’m piss watching the colts game when I should be out there, too,” cut Colts back Chris Rainey tweeted during the game. “Even tho i didn’t break no f—in team rules, not even.”

The “team rules” referenced in the tweet pertain to an alleged incident involving horse play with a fire extinguisher.

“Nice TD Boom even tho u was in the hallway with me that nite when we was horsing around with the fire extinguisher,” Rainey said after Herron scored the lone Colts touchdown. “Man up like i did.”

Rainey, arrested for slapping a girlfriend in the face last year, faced questions on the Colts about his maturity. He answered any remaining ones Thursday night.
