Radisson Suspends Vikings Partnership

The hotel chain headquartered in Minnetonka has withdrawn its sponsorship from the football team that plays in Minneapolis.

Radisson took the measure in response to Adrian Peterson’s indictment on a child-abuse charge, and the team’s reinstatement of their star player on Monday.

“Radisson takes this matter very seriously particularly in light of our long-standing commitment to the protection of children,” read a statement by the chain. “We are closely following the situation and effective immediately, Radisson is suspending its limited sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings while we evaluate the facts and circumstances.”

“Radisson” appeared behind Vikings personnel during press events, which Radisson surely deems, particularly as of late, bad for business. Team officials discussing Adrian Peterson’s deactivation from Sunday’s roster, reappearance on the active roster for this week, and everything else AP-related have done so in front of the hotel’s corporate logo.
