President Obama Fires Back at Michael Jordan

President Obama fired back at Michael Jordan’s characterization of him as a “hack” golfer.

Jordan “wasn’t very well informed about this” the president told Earl Stokes of Milwaukee’s WJMR regarding the NBA Hall of Famer’s ridicule of him as a poor golfer who takes all day to complete a round.

“He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats—or the Hornets,” Obama said of Jordan, who owns the Charlotte NBA franchise that recently changed its name. Jordan has yet to respond despite the president commenting on the former basketball great’s golf game amid a disastrous election inviting any number of obvious comebacks.

The Hornets improved to 2-3 with a home win over the Miami Heat Wednesday night.

Obama conceded that “no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”

Obama played his presidency’s 200th round of golf last month.
