New Obama Ad Ignores President's Call For Israel To Go Back To 1967 Borders

In a recent ad released by the Obama campaign, the “Obama Truth Team” plays a clip of Romney saying that the President suggested that Israel go back to the 1967 borders with Palestine. The ad then plays a clip of the President saying “Israelis and Palestinians will negotiate a border that is different then the one that existed on June 4th, 1967,” to the AIPAC conference. However, the ad omits President Obama’s earlier call for Israel to go back to the 1967 borders where he said “we believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps.”
