Daniel Day-Lewis 'Eastwoods' in BAFTA Acceptance Speech for 'Lincoln'

"Lincoln" star Daniel Day-Lewis takes a moment to joke about politics in his acceptance speech for a BAFTA award. After riffing about election coverage overdose and being plagued by the voice of Wolf Blitzer, the actor imitates the RNC speech of famed director Clint Eastwood. "I'm so extremely grateful and glad that, taking time out of his very busy schedule," Day-Lewis says, pointing at an empty chair, "that the recently reelected President of this country was able to make it here tonight." 8 Nov 2012 post a comment
