Obama Aide: The Way Politics Are Today, There Would Still Be Slavery

On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” White House correspondent Chuck Todd revealed that a close aide to President Obama told him “You know, with the way politics of Washington are today, there’d still be slavery.”  

The only comment Mr. Todd could muster on the outrageous statement was that it was “interesting and depressing.”
