Bill Richardson: North Korea To Contine Nuclear Tests Until China 'Turns The Screws On Them'
After former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson returned from his unauthorized trip to North Korea last month, he said in an op-ed published by Washington Post that North Korean officials had assured him that “now that [the regime]’s security has been guaranteed by a successful satellite launch and nuclear test . . . the nation’s attention can turn to economic growth.” Now in light of North Korean tested another nuclear weapon this week Governor Richardson told MSNC's Alex Witt that North Korea would only stop when China "turned the screws" on them by affecting their food supply.
