Israeli Reporter Confronts Obama on Syria Inaction

Wednesday at the press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Barack Obama was asked by an Israeli reporter to answer for the slaughter of Syrian innocents, now that it appears the regime of Bashar al-Assad has crossed what the U.S. called a “red line” by using chemical weapons on civilians. “As is always the case when it comes to issues of war and peace, I think having the facts before you act is very important,” Obama responded. “It is incorrect for you to say that we have done nothing,” the U.S. president insisted.
