Obama Interrupted By Protesters

During his speech to the Israeli people, President Obama was interrupted by what he called "hecklers" in the audience. The President, who was speaking about having an open dialogue and encouraging youth to get involved in their future said that the protester was encouraging the "lively debate" that he was describing in his speech. The protester was quickly drowned out with boos and then applause for the President. Obama joked that he "arranged" for the protester to interrupt because he wouldn't "feel comfortable if I didn't have at least one heckler." 21 Mar 2013 post a comment
