Carney: Everything WH Knows About IRS Scandal Comes From Press Reports

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday that everything the President and the White House knows about the IRS scandal of targeting conservative groups for additional audits comes from press reports. Carney said that they have had no outside confirmation that this targeting actually occurred and refused to agree that the targeting actually happened despite the fact that top IRS officials have acknowledged this breach of conduct and have apologized.
