Hasting's Widow On Conspiracy Theories Surrounding Car Crash: 'I Really Have Nothing To Add'

Elise Jordan, the widow of Michael Hastings, in response to the idea that Hastings’ death was something other than an accident in relation to a story: “I have no doubt Michael was working on a hot story.” Jordan joked that Hastings always had “five” hot stories working. Jordan went on to say that the LAPD are still conducting their investigation into Hastings’ crash and that she “really has nothing to add.” Jordan said her “gut” tells her that it was an accident and that “I was very unlucky and the world was very unlucky.”
