Utah State Basketball Player Suspended, Facing Drug Felony Charge

KUTV: Utah State forward Jarred Shaw has been suspended indefinitely from the school’s basketball team. The senior was charged on Friday with second-degree felony distribution of a controlled substance. According to a report in the Salt Lake Tribune, Logan police responded to a call at a residence near the Utah State campus and found marijuana there. Police told the newspaper that an underaged girl was also found at the residence. The juvenile was taken into custody and referred to juvenile court.
