Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” Sen, Marco Rubio (R-FL) addressed Charlie Crist remarks in which he said he left the GOP because of their unfriendly attitude toward the African-American president and not his primary loss in 2010 to Rubio.
Rubio said, “It’s ridiculous and silly,” and, “even Democrats will be embarrassed that Charlie Crist became a Democrat.”
He added, “I’ve never met a single Republican activist involved in my campaign that has ever, in my opinion, ever been motivated by race to state their objections.”
Cavuto also asked if he thought Crist was a phony, to which Rubio replied, “Absolutely.”
