In Isla Vista, a small student filled community adjacent to the University of California-Santa Barbara campus, seven people are dead, including a gunman and seven more are injured. The authorities said the suspect was driving a black BMW down a crowded street with apartments and retail store fronts when he opened fire Friday night.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said, the police have found “written and videotaped evidence that suggests this atrocity was premeditated mass murder.”
