Andrea Mitchell Attacks Karl Rove For Calling Hillary Clinton's Book 'Old and Stale'

Monday on MSNBC, host Andrea Mitchell discussed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton releasing of an audio version of the author’s notes for her upcoming book “Hard Choices” about her time at the State Department.

Mitchell objected to political strategist Karl Rove commenting that a book about Clinton’s past accomplishments might seem “old and stale”. Mitchell prompted her guests to “listen very carefully” to the “buzzwords” “old and stale” in an attempt to deflect any criticism of Hillary as sexist. However, both Ruth Marcus and Chris Cillizza of The Washington Post essentially agreed with Rove saying a presidential campaign has to be about the future.
