Carolla: Reparations Are 'Insane' [Language Warning]

In an interview with Real Clear Politics’ Tom Bevan on the website’s video production “Changing Lanes,” comedian and author of “President Me: The America That’s in My Head,” slammed the idea of reparations for slavery.  Carolla said that he opposed reparations because he’s “not a big fan of handing people things and thinking that’s going to work.”

He added that it was “insane” to think that taking money from one group of people and giving it to another would help remedy poverty, and “just giving people gift certificates to Chili’s” wouldn’t work.  Carolla further stated that he believes race relations have gotten during the Obama presidency because of the “doubling-down of all the race-baiters” that occurred after Obama’s election.
