Pelosi: Boehner Needs to Be an 'Adult,' Drop Obama Lawsuit Threat

On Wednesday at her weekly press briefing, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed the news that Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is considering suing President Barack Obama over his excessive use of executive orders called it “subterfuge” and added Republicans in Congress are trying to look like they are addressing the concerns of their right-wing constituents “screaming on the Internet.”

“I’ve said they’re doing nothing here so they need to give some aura of activity,” she said.

Pelosi also said she hopes Boehner ultimately decides not  to follow through on the lawsuit.

“There really needs to be an adult in the room of the Republican caucus and I hope the speaker is that adult,” Pelosi said.
