GOP Rep: Immigration Protests 'Uninformed'

Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) criticized protests against the busing of illegal immigrants to locations across the United States as “uninformed” in an appearance on Wednesday’s “Daily Rundown” on MSNBC. 

Farenthold said “there’s a facility that houses several hundred of these children four blocks from my home in Corpus Christi, Texas. It’s not a problem for the community,” and added that “the whole country needs to step up and help out.”  He also stated that he supports speeding up deportation proceedings because “if we can come up with a procedure to expedite the deportation procedures, it would definitely help.”
