Perry: 'I Do Not Think Our Government Is Being Forthright'

Thursday at a field hearing in Texas on the surge of unaccompanied minors at the U.S.-Mexico border, after being questioned about where the illegal immigrant children are being moved and housed throughout the United States, Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) said, “I do not think our government is being forthright.”

Perry added that we have seen the “negative reaction” from citizens in places like Georgia and California when the federal government has attempted to bus in the illegal immigrant children to facilities in those states.
