NBC: 'Personal Antipathy' Between US, Israel Worst in Recent Memory

NBC News Foreign Correspondent Martin Fletcher said that he cannot recall any time where the “personal antipathy” between the United States and Israel has been worse.

“In my decades of reporting from here, I don’t think I can remember anytime where the personal antipathy between the Israeli leadership and the American administration has been so pronounced” he said on Tuesday’s “The Daily Rundown” on MSNBC.

“Israelis treat everything with humor, that’s for sure. So there’s one cartoon I’d like to describe to you from this morning. Prime Minister Netanyahu is sitting behind his desk, his aide comes in running and says, ‘red alert, red alert.’ And Netanyahu’s looking worried and says, ‘another rocket siren or phone call from Obama?’”
