Pataki Leaves Door Open for 2016 Run to Stop Dems from 'Trashing The Constitution'

Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show” the former Gov. George Pataki (R-NY) said, “It’s still summer,” when he was asked if he is leaving the door open to run for presidential run in 2016.

Pataki said “Our government is failing the people of this country” and we all need to do what we can to “take our country back” from the new extremely “leftist” Democratic party.

Pataki argued the weakest GOP candidate would be “a dramatic improvement” over President Barack Obama, or a potential President Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren.

He said this 2016 race is about the “nature of this country” and if Americans want big government invading every aspect of their lives.

Turning to Obama’s threats to use executive actions where Congress “won’t act,” the New York Republican said, “It’s hideous, it’s wrong,” and the imperial acting Obama is “trashing the Constitution in ways that were only dreamed of.”
